This hotel, built in 1985 and renovated in 1994, is one of the first establishments in Punta Cana. It has a total of 599 rooms distributed in five buildings of three to four floors each. Noisier than its neighbour, the Barcelo Bavaro Garden, it is an attractive place for holidaymaking young people and families who enjoy organized activities and entertainment. Its advantage: it is integrated into the gigantic village Barcelo, where nothing is missing... certainly not the casino.

The rooms of the Barcelo Bavaro Beach are located in five wooden buildings, displaying colourful wooden colonial architecture. Quite spacious (about 323 ft²), they are also very comfortable and have air conditioning, satellite television, a fridge-bar, a bathroom with a bathtub, a hair dryer and a safe included in the package.

The international buffet, "Amdar", the grill restaurant a la carte, "Coral" and the Mexican restaurant, "Mejico Lindo," are the three restaurants of the Barcelo Bavaro Beach, and offer very good cuisine. The hotel's guests are also welcome to try the other restaurants and bars within the complex, except those of the Palace.

The beach of the Barcelo Bavaro Beach hotel, namely Playa Bavaro, is the most famous in Punta Cana. With its transparent waters and white sand, it is difficult not to be seduced! The beach extends far beyond the horizon, although it does not belong only to the hotel - all neighbouring resorts share this beach. The only problem: the nagging noise of the boat engines, which fly by on the waves all day.
