The Almadraba Park Hotel was the one that most seduced us in Rosas. Located on a promontory overlooking the Almadraba cove and the Bay of Rosas, it benefits from an exceptional location and offers a wide range of services that make it deserving of its 4 stars. Run by the same family for several decades now, the hotel has conserved a family atmosphere but has also managed to evolve with its clientele.

The Bay of Rosas is punctuated with two little coves (Almadraba and Canyelles) that are extremely pleasant, especially in summer when the main beach is crammed full. The hotel is located above Almadraba cove. With its large gardens and terrace with the biggest pool in the town, the Almadraba Park is without a doubt the region's most stylish hotel in its category.

From the reception to the guest rooms, the restaurant to the pool, exclusiveness and sobriety seem to be the theme of this hotel. Everything has been designed to cater to the desires of even the most demanding guests. The gardens are well kept and offer an enchanting setting in which to enjoy the swimming pool, which actually overlooks the bay. Next to it you will also find a jacuzzi where you can relax and even stretch out on a deckchair, surrounded by views of the sea. If you're looking to have a drink, the casual Raspa & Wine restaurant offers a large selection of cocktails and light dishes in summer, which is ideal when you don't feel like sitting down to a full dinner. In summer, you can also take advantage of the poolside barbeques. If you'd like to participate in some sport, a tennis court is available and the hotel can even provide an instructor for you if you need one. There is even a secured bike storage area if you want to bring along your own bike. As for other activities, you can play petanque or ping pong. Built in 1970, this hotel has been regularly renovated over the years to meet the needs of its guests. The reading room, however, has not yet been updated and is a little less luxurious than the other facilities, but it does give you the opportunity to admire original lithographs created and signed by Dali himself.

Spacious, comfortable, and minimalist, all of the guest rooms have a spacious bathroom with Hermès welcome toiletries. In pastel shades of blue and white, the decoration makes for a relaxing atmosphere. Almost all of the rooms boast an unobstructed view of the sea and all have a large terrace where you can watch the sunset. Equipped with air-conditioning, a stocked minibar, a safe, radio, telephone and satellite TV, guests have everything they could need to ensure the perfect stay. Both the decor and all of the services on offer are of a very high quality.

The main restaurant at the Alhambra is one of the most chic places in Rosas; its dining room overlooking the Mediterranean is very pleasant and the service is unforgettable. The chef proposes a cuisine that marries international flavours with the finest Catalan specialties. Well-liked and benefiting from a good local reputation, it is recommended to even the most demanding of palates. What's more, the service is pleasant and discreet, which is not exactly the case throughout the region.

As for breakfast, this consists of a buffet with homemade croissants, fresh fruit and fruit juices, fine meat cuts, and a choice of eggs cooked anyway you like. This restaurant is a true delight from morning to night!
