Hotel Montecarlo

It's located by the sea in the commune of Santa Margarita.

In the reception area, the entrance hall, the bar and the restaurant, there are many details that reveal the owners' efforts in renovating and adapting the establishment to the needs of their guests. The building was erected in the 70s and some parts of it have changed little since that era, however the general atmosphere of the hotel has gradually changed throughout the years. The bar has a seaside terrace and provides a pleasant area to work on your tan or to enjoy a drink at the end of the day. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, open to guests in the winter. It becomes and outdoor swimming pool in the summer, and is surrounded by a solarium terrace where you can perfect your suntan in total privacy. During the high season, the entertainment team puts on live music concerts from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm, and if you are travelling with children, there's a kids club offering all sorts of activities.

Its 126 rooms offer a direct or side view of the sea or the bay of Rosas. They all include a terrace and cover an area ranging from 12 to 20 m². They have fans but no air conditioning. There is a direct phone line and a TV set with international channels in every room. The decor is simple but relatively refined and quite modern in the rooms that have undergone recent renovation. All of the bathrooms have a tub and are pleasantly spacious. If you stay in a superior room, you'll enjoy a direct sea view, high quality hospitality products in your bathroom, and your minibar will be re-stocked on a daily basis.

The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, but unlike most establishments in the Rosas region, the selection of food seems a lot more elaborate. There is a wide range of things on offer, and the Chef makes sure to use quality products for his buffet. The desserts, prepared freshly on a daily basis, are delicious.
