Built in 1991, the Sofitel was renovated in 2001. This large, white, 8-storey building dominates a beautiful park with trees that includes the golf course and the hotel gardens. Marble predominates in the sober and unadorned lobby. Outside, a 5,380-foot swimming pool combines aesthetics and convenience: it allows for 82-foot laps. Deckchairs, towels, and parasols are scattered aroung the large solarium and on a central islet accessed through a wooden bridge. For those who want to stay fit, the hotel offers a fitness room with a view of the gardens. Sauna, hammam and jacuzzi are also available to relax after a tennis match or squash game.

Half of the 204 rooms of the Sofitel overlook the sea; the remaining rooms overlook the swimming pool. Request a room on the 7th or 8th floor to enjoy the widest panorama. The rooms are medium sized (355 feet²); they have a small balcony and are furnished in a sober, contemporary style.
