The Fasano Sao Paulo Hotel opened in September 2003. It is a hotel boutique and a member of the prestigious 'Leading Small Hotels of the World' group, with 60 luxurious rooms including 10 suites in a 23-storey building crowned by a large clock. So there is no shortage of beautiful panoramic views of the city! To start with, on the 21st floor is the swimming pool with its two jacuzzis at each end. The floors are reached by two very spacious lifts. The lobby is hidden behind a very cosy and elegant bar above which hangs an old map of the world. The bar is decorated by two superb world maps, and serves an incredible range of alcoholic drinks. Shades of brown dominate the lobby lounge, with its chic and elegant setting and pleasant jazzy music. The spa on the 22nd floor, like the rest of the hotel, is stylish and luxurious. It offers a beautiful panoramic view of Sao Paulo. Numerous massages and treatments are available in one of its four cubicles.
The rooms are spacious (377 sq ft) and decorated with style. They have satellite television with a plasma screen, a DVD and CD player, discreet individual air conditioning, a mini-bar/fridge, a tea and coffee kit, a free electronic safe, telephone, and free Wi-Fi internet access. The king-size bed has top quality soft pillows. A bay window offers beautiful views of Sao Paulo. The beautiful, ultra-stylish marble bathroom is spacious, clean, and well decorated. It has a bath, hydro-massage jet shower, toilet, bidet, bathrobes, slippers, sophisticated hospitality products, and a hair-dryer. There is 24-hour room service.
The Fasano Restaurant serves up its famous Italian cuisine prepared by its international chef in a softly-lit designer setting. An impressive range of bottles of wine and spirits is on show. This is one of the most famous addresses for dining in the city. Breakfast and lunch are taken in the Nonno Ruggero restaurant, which has a lovely terrace. Dinner can can also be taken there. The Baretto bar is an ideal place to relax with a drink to the sound of the bossa nova every evening from 7.30 pm to 3.00 am.
