International StandardClub Magic Life is by far one of the best resorts we have reviewed in Nabq Bay. Not too big, extremely green and with good quality facilities, Brits may be phased by the German invasion here, but if after peace and quiet with good food and a good beach, in a good quality establishment then this one's for you!
The resort is located right at the entrance of developing area, Nabq Bay just a five minute drive from Sharm el Sheikh Airport. There are no neighbouring hotels creeping up for the moment and with the tall green bushes, guests feel enveloped in an intimate atmosphere.
Club Magic Life is a German hotel chain with resorts in Tunisia, Greece, Spain, Turkey and Egypt. Opened in 2002, the resort also attempts at being environmentally-friendly from the various signs in the bathrooms indicating guests to be aware of water wastage. The facilities are otherwise very good, the spa is clean, relaxing and feels fairly new. Although Club Magic Life is an all-inclusive resort, there is no wristband system which contributes to the quality edge of the establishment. The staff here are very professional, efficient and friendly.
Greeted by an oriental red washed arch hiding a long (very long!) driveway to the main building. Once inside the lobby, the guest is greeted by bright white smiles behind the reception desk. The lobby is bright and large, but not so that it feels imposing. The lobby's cleanliness and cosiness reflects the rest of the hotel which is equally as well maintained and contemporary. The hotel buildings are surrounded by very green, very pleasant gardens which breaks up the monotony of most other resorts we have seen. It makes the walk between the different components of the hotel a nice one. There is one main pool which is lined by the restaurant terrace close to the close pool which is candle lit in the evenings.
The rooms are light, airy and finished to a high standard. Spacious, clean and neat, the rooms have all the expected mod-cons including a good range of English language television channels. Asking for a room with a sea view is definitely worth it as not all are beach-facing. All rooms do have a terrace or balcony.
Where food is concerned the guest is spoiled for choice. The main restaurant offers a buffet at every meal with all kinds of meals, from fresh seafood pasta to grilled steak to oriental cooking to salad. There are also à la carte restaurants which look really pleasant to dine in due to the effort made with the decoration.
The beach is lined by the path which runs along the whole of Nabq Bay. It is a wide flat sandy beach with very shallow waters. The jetty, which is a little long, does give good access to the coral reef for snorkelers once the end is reached. The beach is well organised with sun loungers neatly arranged in rows under parasols.
