Hotel Laguna Vista Garden Resort

The Laguna Vista Garden Hotel is opposite the Laguna Vista Beach Resort on the other side of the road. It is in Nabq Bay and is next to Nabq Bay's most developed shopping area. The hotel is not on the beach, but guests can use the Laguna Vista Beach facilities across the road.

The Laguna Vista Garden is more of a hotel than a resort which makes a change in Sharm el Sheikh, where most establishments tend to be large resorts. Guests can also use all Laguna Vista Beach facilities including the kids' club (although the hotel does have its own kids' club) and beach, which is just across the road.

The hotel consists of 160 rooms in the form of bungalows spread over a beautiful verdant garden; hence its name, Laguna Vista 'Garden'. Winding around the flowery paths, hearing birds singing from the trees is a real delight and helps create a relaxed atmosphere. Although the hotel doesn't have a beach or varied facilities, it does have a very nice spa that looks light and airy, clean and relaxing. The lobby is small but stylish with a domed ceiling and lots of seating for guests waiting for shuttle buses.

There are either two or four rooms to a villa, some have two floors, that can either connect or remain separate. The villas are quaint and well decorated inside. Six rooms are equipped for disabled guests, meaning that the doors are large enough for a wheelchair and the bathroom has handles to facilitate bathing.

The hotel has one main restaurant and pool bar. The restaurant and bar are immaculate and extremely attractive spaces where a real effort has been made with the décor.

Although the Laguna Vista Garden does not have its own beach, guests are welcome to use the beach at the Laguna Vista Beach resort across the road. Guests can either walk there, crossing the beautiful site of the Resort (850 metres) which is a 10-15 minute walk or there is an hourly shuttle bus from 8am-6pm from the Laguna Vista Garden. Wide and sandy, the beach feels private due to the lack of activity here which is very relaxing. On the beach here, guests feel like they are really on holiday. On the beach, there lies something that we have never seen at another resort in Sharm: the Pataya Nightclub. In the evenings the wooden galleries of seating is transformed under the many spotlights! Although small, the outdoor nightclub even has its own pool on the beach! The rest of the beach does look a little abandoned which isn't a bad thing if you are looking for peace and quiet! The resort guests can use the neighbouring resort's jetty which is fairly long, but which gives access to the coral for snorkelling. Across the Nabq Bay walkway which lines all the beaches in the area, towards the hotel, there are some fun-looking restaurants giving the Laguna Vista Beach a real village feel.
