Hotel Mövenpick Jolie Ville

The Mövenpick Hotel Jolie Ville takes up a large area, one mile long, on Naama Bay, near the tourist resort of the same name (accessible on foot) where shops and restaurants welcome you. The old city of Sharm is three miles away, the airport is about six miles away.

The hotel guests are mostly Italian, German and Swiss. The hotel has a shuttle that runs from one end of its vast grounds to another, split into two by one of the main streets in Sharm, quite a popular place because of its proximity to the tourist and commercial centre of Naama Bay.

Built in 1991, the hotel has remained flawless, enjoying perfect and frequent maintenance. Its architecture is ultra-modern, predominantly built of white marble. Its size is impressive: 41 one-storey buildings housing 356 rooms. A special villa is reserved for presidential suites. All sports equipment and the nightclub are situated on the other side of the street that separates the field into two parts. The vegetation is extremely various: palm trees, bananas, begonias and bougainvillea.

The rooms mostly overlook the gardens. Decorated with care and sobriety, each room is equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, television (41 channels), a telephone line for direct overseas calls, a mini bar and a terrace. The bathroom (impeccable) has a shower and a hairdryer. A common safe is available for customers at the reception. The serenity here is remarkable.

Among the five restaurants at the hotel, the main restaurant, a part of which is reserved for children, offers a huge variety of high quality dishes served as a buffet for breakfast and dinner (a different culinary theme every evening). The setting is pleasant, modest, quiet and airy. The focus is put on the restaurant offering French cuisine and a restaurant with seafood specialties. Located all over the site, the bars are numerous.

The size of the beach is not proportionate to the size of the hotel. It is, nonetheless, quite enjoyable. Amid a variety of palm trees, it is has numerous sunbeds, parasols and showers. The only disadvantage: the crowding. Numerous water sports are offered.
