Hotel Milano Due

Downtown, along the Strand ( a seafront promenade ). Valetta is located 3 miles away ( a 15 minute trip ) and the airport 5 miles away ( a 25 minute trip ).

The Milano Due enjoys a   good location facing the sea. In summer, it offers free access to the Pebble Beach Lido ( located 0.6 mile away ). This seaside complex by the beach includes a swimming pool, a snack bar, a diving school and various water sports ( for a fee ). You can go to the complex on foot or take the hotel's free shuttle.

Built in 1998 and renovated in 2000, the Milano Due is 6 floors high just in front of the Sliema bay. Its architecture is simple. However, it's a pity that the lobby is often congested because of its small size. On the other hand, the panoramic terrace, located on the top floor, is very pleasant for tanning or for going for a swim in the pool. The Milano Due does not offer any other equipment for leisure activities.

Of the 108 rooms, half offer a sea view. The others face the city. They have a balcony, with the exception of 12 of them. Their furniture is simple and functional. All of them are equipped with a bathroom with shower or bathtub, with direct telephone and with satellite television. The hotel also has 6 suites with lounge and mini-bar. However, it's a pity that the rooms are so small. You should preferably choose one of the suites if you want more space.

The room where breakfast is served is unfortunately a little bit dark. At dinner time, you should choose the meticulously decorated panoramic restaurant : paintings on the walls, chairs covered with velvet and perfectly set up tables. The menu offers traditional and international dishes, with a reasonable selection of wines.
