Hotel Sliema Chalet

Downtown, facing the sea. Valetta is located 3 miles away ( a 15 minute trip ) and the airport 5 miles away ( a 25 minute trip ).

Even if the hotel faces the sea, the rocky coast does not make it possible to swim there. You can always go to the Sliema Aquatic Sports Club located 0.6 mile away. This complex, located on the seashore, has a solarium and a large swimming pool. A wide range of water sports is available on site.

Built in 1994, the Sliema Chalet set its 7 floors facing the seafront, just in front of the promenade. The outside architecture is sober ( white façade with balconies ) and the inside decoration too. Simple but friendly, the lobby offers a lounge area to relax upon arrival. Then, be sure to go up on the terrace at the top of the hotel : you will enjoy a very beautiful panorama of the bay. The terrace is set up with a solarium ( deckchairs and armchairs ) but unfortunately, it does not have a swimming pool.

The 53 rooms offer a simple but sufficient comfort. Prefer those that offer a balcony and face the sea. Their functional furniture is in light wood and Formica. AS for the amenities, all the rooms are air-conditioned and they have a bathroom with shower or bathtub, a direct telephone and satellite television.

Breakfast is served in a bright room on light wooden tables. You can also have other meals there : fish, pasta and grillings are the main part of the menu. A snack-bar with a bar appearance also allows you to eat something more quickly, while enjoying a lively seafront view.
