Hotel Adaaran Club Rannalhi

The Rannahli is located across from the Filhaoli on the Male Sud atoll, 45 minutes away by speed boat from the Male airport. Fihalohi is 25 minutes away by dhoni.

The hotel belongs to Adaaran. It is also a Venta Club, the famous Italian chain. It is much visited then by the inhabitants of the Boot. 25 underwater diving sites are located near the Rannalhi. PADI is the underwater diving method used.

The hotel has 25 one-floor blocks each with 4 rooms, with sea views and 16 waterbungalows divided in 8 pairs joined to each other. The bar has a terrace hanging over the sea, offering a magnificent view. A beach bar is also available. Every evening, the hotel has a show or activity scheduled (karaoke, concerts, night fishing, etc.). The hotel also has a small shop, an Ayurveda massage centre, and a reflexology centre for the hands and feet: the Rannalhi is one of the only hotels in Maldives to practice this discipline. During the day, activities are organised : aquagym, visits to local and/or deserted islands, barbecue parties, shopping in Male... You will not be bored if you are into nautical activities !

Both the beachvillas and waterbungalows have television, air conditioning, a fan, mini-bar, and direct telephone for international calling. The waterbungalows also have a safe, and the essentials for tea and coffee. They are unique in that they are equipped with glass tiles to see the fishes and Manta rays that swim underneath. An additional bed can be added in the rooms. The bathrooms have a shower. Please note: there are no fence around the terraces (with deckchairs) of the waterbunglows. Even if children are not accepted there, it's dangerous for adults. Breakfast can be served in the waterbungalow rooms.

The main restaurant is served buffet style for all three meals. The dining room is quite big and is set up like a canteen. However, the food is very varied, international as well as local, and of good quality.

The beach is divided into three sections, one with a beautiful white sand strip that has a beach volleyball field, small pretty creeks, and bits of beach punctuated by rows of stones. The sand varies in quality, sometimes average, sometimes nice. In the water, the corals are quite close to the shore. Many nautical activities are offered.
