Hotel Wela

Varna and Burgas international airports are located 18 and 60 mi respectively, from the hotel, itself located in the centre of Sunny Beach, a lively seaside resort where you will find many shops, restaurants and pubs.

The hotel is located in the northern part of Sunny Beach resort, approximately 800 ft from the beach (after crossing a road).

Built in 2004 and open during the summer season from May to October, the Wela is a small hotel with modern and well-kept amenities, easily accessible from the entrance hall where you will find the reception (open 24-hours a day), a bar, a night club and a boutique. The lobby then opens directly onto the small pool (the only one in the hotel) and the outdoor bars. The setting is pleasant but it can prove to be noisy, especially during a volleyball or football match (the pitch dedicated to these activities is located next to the road). Still on the ground floor, you will find the spa fitted with three gym apparatus, a sauna and a hammam, where a few treatments (massages, hydrotherapy, etc.) are available for an extra charge. Medical service is available within the hotel.

The hotel complex has a total of 170 guest rooms (accessible thanks to a lift) and dimly lit corridors (ideal for a hide-and-seek session). Favour guestrooms with a view of the garden and the pool (others look out onto the car park and the road), although the construction works in the background aren't very pleasant either. As far as the standard rooms are concerned, they are spacious and benefit from plenty of daylight. It is a shame, however, that the interior decor is lacking and the amenities are limited to a basic minimum: beds, coffee table, television, telephone, curtains. As for the bathrooms, they are small, clean and fitted with tile flooring. Room service is available until 11:00 pm here and facilities include satellite television, air conditioning and a balcony in every room.

Breakfast is served as a buffet in the main restaurant on the ground floor. Lunch and dinner are not included in the all-inclusive option but they can be ordered a la carte. Large bay windows provide more natural light in the building, which gives onto the pool and the outdoor terrace where a few plastic tables and chairs are laid out. The whole place is functional, whether indoor or outdoor.
