Hotel Villa belvédère

The Villa Belvedere is located 980 feet away from downtown Taormina, offering a stunning view of the sea and the Etna. Taormina is located on the eastern coast of Sicily. Catane and the international airport are 30 miles away.

It is quite difficult to park in the hotel's parking lot, but ask the reception and the hotel's staff will park your car.

The Villa Belvedere is a charming hotel built a few feet away from Taormina with a great view of the Etna and the turquoise sea. The hotel is nestled in a pleasant floral garden. Palm trees, pines, flowers ....will offer you some shade. A bar at the reception allows you to relax and refresh yourself. A pool in the garden offers you the possibility to swim. Different small lounges are open for all those wanting to play chess or other games, or even read as a library offers you various books. This hotel offers calm and coolness a few steps away from the touristic Taormina city.

The hotel has 49 nice and bright rooms. Decor is basic, but tasteful. The brown paving contrasts with the white walls. A few paintings light up the walls. The furniture is made of old wood. Some rooms offer a balcony or a sundeck with deckchairs. All have a TV, telephone, air conditioning and heating. The bathrooms are original with their small windows overlooking the sea. The coloured paving brings a joyful note to the place. Hair dryer, welcome products are available. You will find either showers or bathtubs.

Breakfast is served in a room with arched windows overlooking the sea. The room is fitted out with small round tables. You need to know that at breakfast time, you are served real jam. The other meals are taken at the edge of the shaded pool in summer. Very pleasant. A good quality Sicilian cuisine is served here.

A sand and pebbles beach is located near by. A shuttle from the hotel to the beach is available for a fee.
