International StandardThe Sheraton Tel Aviv is a hotel that offers quality services to go with its seafront location perfectly suited for both families and businessmen. Its location near some of Tel Aviv's most lively neighbourhoods means the hotel is also a good base for nights out on the town.

The Sheraton Tel Aviv is located on the seafront, not far from the marina. Tel Aviv city centre is a 5 minute walk away, the old town of Jaffa is 2 mi off, and Ben Gourion airport is a 30 minute drive from the hotel.
Built in 1976, this is the hotel chain's second attempt at opening an establishment here, after an initial one that was built further up the shore in 1965 and then destroyed.
The Sheraton Tel Aviv is a tall tower that was built in 1977. The reception hall is so large, it takes on monumental dimensions, and feels almost too spacious. The marble creates a rather cold atmosphere but a few plants soften the appearance and make the place feel a touch more friendly. Everything is clean but lacking in charm. There is a swimming pool with a terrace overlooking the sea and the lobby bar serves snacks all day long.
The Sheraton Tel Aviv has 342 guest rooms. The colour scheme is dominated by shades of blue and white, and although there are not many decorative features, the space is clean and bright. The standard rooms are equipped with a television, telephone, minibar, safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, and Internet access. Meanwhile, the suites also have a DVD player and a music centre, as well as 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms are provided with a bathtub, a set of scales, a hair dryer, and hospitality products.
When we visited in November 2005, the main restaurant was being renovated. A small, brightly lit restaurant with nice decor is open for lunch and dinner. The plants and tablecloths decorated with olives give the dining room a Mediterranean feel, which is further enhanced by the fantastic view over the sea. Snacks and Italian specialities are served all day long in the lobby lounge.
