The Oasis hotel is located in the heart of the oasis, a few hundred feet away from the centre of Tozeur and 10 to 15 minutes away by car from the airport (4 miles).

Because of the noise around the swimming pool, prefer a room with a view of the palm cove.

The name of the hotel fits it well, as its was built in 1903 in the heart of the palm cove. In spite of its last renovation (1987), the buildings damaged by the heat, the sand and the desert wind, do not have the flaming spark of the majority of the recent hotel constructions of Tozeur.

The 114 double rooms are small and very simple. They are all air conditioned and equipped with a bathroom with shower or bathtub, a telephone linked with the operator 24/7. Only the 7 suites and the 3 apartments have satellite television and a refrigerator.

A small restaurant of about 200 seats is open for the breakfast and dinner buffets. Sometimes, Bedouin evenings are organised in the palm cove of the hotel with a North African style barbecue served under Berber tents. To have a drink, you will prefer the nice Moorish cafe, (Le Marabout) and its interior fountain rather than the main bar (La Rose des Sables). Besides, you can watch television there on a huge screen.
