Hotel Express by Holiday Inn San Luis

The Holiday Inn San Luis is located some 2 mi from the city centre and 9 mi from Manises airport, with a transfer time of 15-20 minutes by car.

Express is the 3 star brand of the Holiday Inn chain of hotels and is generally best-suited to the needs of those just passing through than those planning on spending a holiday here.

Built in 2000 in the San Luis part of the city, this modern building stands facing a roundabout. Upon entering the hotel you'll notice the reception desk, with two computers providing Internet access (for a charge of 2 pounds/hour) just opposite it, as well as a public phone and a selection of brochures for activities and attractions to be enjoyed in the area. Beside it, the Chupa Chups vending machine (as well as others selling ice cream and drinks!) is sure to be a hit with children! On the opposite side you'll find the bar, furnished with red armchairs and open from midday to midnight. The Holiday Inn also has a ground floor terrace which, despite its lack of appeal, is nevertheless somewhere you can come for some fresh air in spacious surroundings. The hotel car park has 70 parking spots.

The major advantage of the Holiday Inn San Luis is that it offers families a free stay for children under 12 year sharing a room with their parents. The hotel houses 125 guest rooms with carpeted floors, white or light-coloured walls, and a small desk, whilst the family rooms also have a sofa bed for two children. If you can, steer clear of the rooms with picture windows overlooking the roundabout, as these can get rather noisy. Keep in mind that there are no doors on the little wardrobes and that the third floor is set aside for smoking guests. You might also be interested to know that the windows do not fully open, which will undoubtedly give those staying here with children a certain peace of mind.

The Holiday Inn San Luis only serves breakfast, from 7:00am to 10:00am, but on the plus side, it is included in the price of your room. It consists of a selection of cold dishes, fruit juices and pastries. There is also a carpeted lounge area close to the bar, furnished with green chairs and equipped with a television.
