The bird refuge of the Keoladeo Ghana national park close to Bharatpur, is one of the richest in the world. Close to 350 sedentary and migratory bird species share the area in the heart of marshes and pools covered with reeds. The best period to watch herons, cranes and other raptors runs from September to February. Do not forget your binoculars.
