The lengths of the day and night are practically the same, with very little variation during the course of the year, as Bali is located only a few degrees to the South of the Equator. The sun rises and sets very quickly; dawn and dusk hardly exist. Similarly, the temperatures do not vary very much throughout the year. They range from around 26°C after the "cool" season (from May to July/August), to 30°C in the "hot" season (from December to March). Our summer months, which are the southern winter, are the best times to visit, as it is also the dry season. The rainy season begins in October and finishes in April.
