Persepolis stands out as the most impressive archeological site in the whole of Iran. The construction of this city began in 518 BC on a vast terrace. It has maintained two monumental stairs, fully decorated with bas-reliefs, masterpieces from the Achaemenidae era. Enter the palaces of Darius and Xerxes. The northern portico of the Hundred Pillar hall opens onto an immense square of 43,040 sq ft.
