Babylon, which is sheltered the famous hanging gardens (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), has been restored. Start by visiting the town's museum before seeing Babylon's Lion, the imposing Greek theatre, temples, fortresses, palaces, walls and the gates of the Ancient Town (the famous Ishtar Gate has been reconstructed).
