This County Cork castle built in the 15th century is mostly known for its legendary Blarney stone that is claimed to give the power of eloquence to all those who kiss it. This story has become a tradition, and when an Irish talks a lot, he is jokingly asked: "Did you kiss the Blarney stone?" This stone rises up 98 ft high, above one of the walls of the castle,. For those who believe in its magical powers, it is possible to see the stone by visiting the castle, but only if you don't suffer from vertigo.
