All the cities, including Dublin, are moderately-sized. Ireland is not a place of vast agglomerations, districts with big gaudy buildings, express roads which deface town centres. The cities can be discovered on foot, from a tea room to a pub, passing via the "fish and chip" shop where you can enjoy your fish and chips sprinkled with vinegar and served at the counter in a paper cone.
