A sort of rectangular triangle, Sicily has three very distinct coastal portions. To the north, the rocky creeks alternate with charming fishing villages; to the east, the terraced towns form balconies on the sea with the smoking cone of Etna rising in the background; and to the south, the banks level off to form splendid beaches where it feels great to relax before diving into the blue waters.
