Located north of Sardinia, the Gallura peaks at 4,468 ft on the Limbara mountain. You can use the cross-way linking Olbia to Tempio Pausania, then turn and head towards Lugosanto. Perched on hills capped with maquises, this is one of the most original villages of the Gallura. Stop at the church square and roam the streets before heading back in the direction of the Santa Teresa Gallura. The road lined with cork-oak is absolutely delightful.
