Jamaica boasts an amazing aquatic fauna with over 700 fish species living in the turquoise waters. Among them, you will find coral fish, such as parrot fish, and in deeper waters, manta skate, tarpons, barracudas, and even sharks. Turtles reproduce on the shores as well as manatees, marine mammals which are unfortunately threatened with extinction.
