The beaches of the east coast. Jamaica's east coast Port Antonio, on the east coast, is a chaotic and picturesque town but here, in the region of Portland, there are also many smaller, quiet beaches to be found Ralph Braumer / age fotostock;

The east beaches around Port Antonio have been made famous by the visits of a good number of Hollywood stars (such as Errol Flynn, Bette Davis, and Ginger Rogers). Several movies have also been shot there: the "Blue Lagoon" with Brooke Shields on the site bearing the same name, and "Cocktail" whose Dragon Bay provided the background for Tom Cruise's bar. In the east of the island, San San Beach will enchant surf and water sports lovers. Finally Winnifred beach, frequented by the local population a few miles away from Port Antonio, will bring back memories of scenes from the movie "Club Paradise" with Robin Williams.
