The Osaka town, formerly known as Naniwa lies in the heart of Japan. It is crisscrossed by several streams and rivers, with the main one called Yodo. Its castle deserves a visit. Lying on the heights of the town, its view is simply breathtaking. The surrounding park is magnificent, especially in spring when the cherry trees blossom. Do not also miss the Shitennoji temple. Built in 593, it is the oldest in Japan.
