Wadi Rum desert (80 miles from Petra), is one of the mythical places in Jordan, and is strongly linked to the memory of Lawrence of Arabia. Unveil the mystery and phantasmagoria of this sea of sand in a jeep or on camel back attended by Bedouins, the timeless symphony of ochres and reds complemented by the sandstone and granite massifs. The Rest House at the entrance to the hotel offers tours in pick-up vans (which can take from one and a half hours to a day), camel back (for example you can get to Aqaba on camel back, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia in two days) and rock-climbing tours with specialist Bedouin guides.
