This is the same formula as the Full-Board except with one less meal, lunch in general. In this case as well it is a question of choice. Or of your budget. It is one of the least expensive formulas. It is up to each individual to determine their needs.
If a generous breakfast can tie you over until the evening, or if a salad at lunch is enough, then the half-board formula is for you. Otherwise, the additional costs might leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth.
Look into the other catering possibilities on-site before leaving, be they within the hotel complex or outside. The advantage: this will give you the chance to leave the hotel and discover the country, its people, and of course, its cuisine.
