Lake Issyk-Koul

Lake Issyk-Koul, north of Tien-Shan mountains, is the second largest lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in central America. The pride of the Kyrgyz, its name means hot sea, for it never freezes, even at over 5,250 feet above sea level.
