In Lebanon, you can go swimming in the Mediterranean and skiing (there are six ski resorts in the country) in the same day. The country has two massifs, Mount Liban, which is part of the Chouf mountain range and peaks at 10,112 ft, and the Anti-Liban (9,230 ft). There are also two plains, the coastal plain and Bekaa plain, which are found between Mount Liban and Anti-Liban; the plains are dry in the north and fertile in the south.
