Saïda

Saïda

Saïda

Saïda is the capital of southern Lebanon. What is left of its glory during the Persian Empire is the temple of Eshmoun (2 miles northeast), erected in the 5th century BC. Take a pleasant stroll around the souks facing the port where you will see the Sea Castle, a fortress built in the 13th century.
