Thaba-Bosiu

Thaba-Bosiu, 10 miles east of Maseru, is the major historical site of the country. King Mosheshoe occupied the natural fortress in 1824 and it was from here that he fought back neighbouring tribes' assaults. You can get to Thaba-Bosiu from Maseru by minibus for roughly 1 USD (60p), it's definitely worth it for the splendid views.
