The Mullerthal

Eastward, on the Echternach side, the Mullerthal will fascinate you with its strange rock formations. In fact, the "millers' valley" which centre is Berdorf, was hollowed by the river in sandstone formations, forming caves here and there where grindstones, that made use of grinding grain, were chiselled and extracted.
