When you get off the ferry on the Macau peninsula, you immediately perceive the Guia Lights at the hilltop, the oldest in all the Chinese shore, close to which is an old Portuguese stronghold. Down the hill is the museum of the Macau Grand Prix, the greatest car race in Asia.
