Dishes are mainly made up of rice and fish (dried or fresh), and are quite spicy. You will find a whole range of curries served with bonito, pepper, sliced onions and grated coconuts. Also try out the fried fish rolls, tuna balls with coconuts, and the hikima (dried and smoked fish served with flat bread). Tea is the most common drink. The big hotels offer imported beer and spirits.
