Today the seat of Malta's parliament, this 16th Century building was erected by the architect Girolamo Cassar who created several buildings in Valletta, notably Saint John's cathedral. The interior of the palace is adorned with frescos by the painter Nicolo Nasini. It hosts an impressive collection of Gobelins tapestry and weapons from ancient times.
