 Climate and Seasons

The climate is hot and humid. From December to March, the season is relatively dry with a little light rainfall. Downpours are fairly heavy from April to November. October and November are the rainiest and hottest months. Winter can be stormy but hurricanes are rare. Temperatures vary little: 27°C in January, 29°C in April, 28°C in July and 29°C in October. The best time to visit is from February to June (these are the sunniest months). The best time for diving is from May to October.
