A Creole house in Saint-Anne As well as for its superb beaches, Sainte-Anne is worth a visit for its Creole houses, its pottery and its market. Vladimira Dvorakova / age fotostock;
A small village in the south-east, Sainte-Anne is well known for its pottery, as well as its grilled lobster. There is a beautiful yellow ochre church, wooden houses and a few richly coloured gum tree boats moored along the banks. Its beach is known to be the most beautiful, along with Les Salines, and it does deserve its reputation.
