Visit The South-West, le Diamant and Sainte-Luce

  • To see

The Diamant Rock is magnificent. It is worth a look. The Anses d'Arlets (small Anse and Grande Anse) are also very nice. We advise you to walk about the area.

    To do

The Diamant Rock is a privileged point for scuba diving and swimming. The fauna and flora of the submarine world are particularly rich here. Attention, however, rolling waves are sometimes violent.

    To think about

Remember to protect yourself from the sun with cream or lotion and a cap.
  • To avoid

it is forbidden to venture onto the rock, infested with snakes. The hurricane season (September-October) should be avoided .

    To try

You can have lunch or dinner at Bois Lélé Petite Anse, a charming little restaurant on a terrace, where the welcome is particularly warm. The tasting menu costs ? 12.50 and it's worth it! We have tested it ! You can enjoy the accras, black pudding, rum, crawfish, lobster, crab stuffed, chicken curry, bananas flambée ...

    To bring back

Rum ... The plantation of "Trois-Rivieres" : it keeps its aging rum at least 6 years. A friendly visit to discover the secrets of making this prestigious rum before obviously tasting it ! Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and during weekends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For information, visit: : 05 96 62 51 78 et www.rhumdemartinique.com.
