In Martinique, the main interest for divers lies in the abundance of corals, sponges, sea anemones and sea urchins around which countless fish swim. Amongst those are chars, butterflyfish, parrotfish, triggerfish, surgeonfish, balloonfish and other colourful fish. Also present close enough to the coast, a few dolphins and porpoises. Further out at sea, you can see several sorts of sharks, such as blue sharks and nurse sharks, which share the waters with swordfish and barracudas.
