We have tested: 12 Hotels Mauritius

Mauritius is without a doubt unbeatable for its hotels. Whatever your taste, there's something for everyone at all four corners of the island. The great thing is that not all hotels have succumbed to over-sized gyms and all the rest of the sporting activities one might be looking for in a hotel, but Mauritius has preserved its small charming hotels too. If you're looking for great nightlife it's probably best to stay in the North, in Grand-Baie, where most of the bars and clubs are. If you're looking for something a little calmer, the South has less bustle and it is a little less overwhelmed by tourists. The East and West have lovely beaches but the climate can vary widely from one coast to the next. The East can be a little too windy and the West a little rainy.
