While exploring the south coast of Grande Terre, you will discover M'tsapéré, a handicraft village, then you arrive in Dembeni after having driven along the banana and ylang-ylang plantations. Stop at Milouani beach for a swim, south of Dembeni. From there, go to Hamouro, where you can see mud huts, roofed with palms. From Hamouro, drive to Bandrélé which unfolds along a pretty beach. There is a diving club there, so you can go and explore the reef. You can also rent a sea-kayak if you want to paddle in the lagoon.
