The island is an hour's boat ride from one of the two peers of Cancun, ?women's island' (literal translation) will delight families especially. This small island consists of a nature park, a Mayan temple, varied activities (such as the Tyrolean traverse, scuba-diving, canoeing, golf, swimming pools and trampolining), beautiful beaches for relaxing, a small town centre and hotels. Several options are offered depending on your choice of activities, the fee goes from £20 to £40 (all included). We enjoyed the very rich underwater wildlife and visiting the park, though would have liked it to have been less busy. The first pier is located between the beaches of Langosta and Las Perlas (with two journeys each day) and the second one is in Puerto Juanes (public boats with departures every half hour).
