One of the first national parks ever promoting eco-tourism, Montebello lagoon (Chiapas) is a must-see for nature and biotope watchers and hikers, as well as for the visit of Chinkultic's archaeological sites, on the border between the state of Chiapas and Guatemala. This park consists of over 14,820 acres of mountain forest - pine and oak trees.
