Brought to fame by Hollywood and “The Night of the Iguana“ by John Husto, a small fishermen's village has become one of the most fashionable Mexican resorts. You have to admit that the site is sumptuous, with the Sierra Madre, covered with emerald jungle, diving into the Pacific ocean and carved into a series of small bays hemmed with golden beaches… The city centre is well preserved and clean, overlooked by the steeple of Nuestra Senora de Guadelupe's church, the symbol of the city. You will find the beautiful beaches in the south of Bahia de las Banderas (only accessible by day): Las Animas, Quimixto, Mismayola and Yelapa.
