Saïnshand

The Sainshand town is located in the south-east part of Mongolia, not far from the Chinese border. The Trans Siberian railway line cuts across it and links it directly to Ulan Bator. The Danzanravjaa museum gathers objects which belonged to the artist of the same name, all at once a composer, writer, playwright and learned in medicinal plants. You will see there some paintings, medicinal plants, but also some stage costumes worn for the plays he created. As for the museum of the province, it houses a collection dedicated to wildlife and flora in the Gobi desert, as well as sea fossils and numerous seashells.
