Marrakech shows an obvious hispano-moresque influence with its monuments and the famous square overlooked by the "koutoubia" minaret. Fez, the great cultural city, is the oldest of all Moroccan imperial cities. It's the spiritual and religious capital of the kingdom. The whole history of the country lies within its walls. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. Meknes has several similarities with Fez. It is also full of charm and surprises. Rabat, the capital city, is a fair match to the others. Casablanca is the lesser popular one among tourists for these reasons: it's a modern and noisy city and shows fewer points of interest for the tourists eager to experience "picturesque" Morocco. It would however be a mistake to overlook it completely. "Casa" offers a different vision of the country. Although they do not boast so many visitors, coastal cities have something else to offer.
