Cacti, argan trees, and rocky shores stretch out from Essaouira to Agadir. Along the road, you will come across a few villages: Diabat, renowned in the 1960s for hosting Jimmy Hendrix and Sidi Kaouki, is very popular amongst windsurfers. To the north of Agadir, lovely sandy coves border the coast. To the south, the main highway runs through virgin lands to enter the sea only around Tiznit.
