  • The flora in Namibia

Namibia's flora had to adapt to the desert conditions. In the Namib, the most sensational is welwitschia, an odd and endemic plant, which looks like tangled leaves and can live up to 2,000 years. You certainly won't miss out on the quiver tree, a type of aloe reaching up to 8 metres which blooms from May onwards.
